So if im planning on putting in the 6th gear, is this all i need?

5SPD CONVERSION TO 6SPD:PARTS ARE OFF RSX-S OR TSX

Honda Single Cone Synchronizer (23641-PPP-000) Ring, Blocking (66SZ) ($28.94)
Fork, Fifth-Sixth Gearshift 24201-RAS-000 (04-09TSX)$53.76

SHIFTER MECHABNISM PARTS ( Off Tsx, Rsx-s,)
Reverse shift piece 24240-PNS-000 (02-06 RSXS/04-09 TSX) $35.70
Shift Arm Interlock 24430-PNS-000 (02-06 RSXS/04-09 TSX)$22.34

MAINSHAFT PARTS:
Mainshaft Sixth Gear 23590-RAS-A00 (06-08 TSX) $57.60
Needle Bearing 91103-RAS-003 (35x41x24)(06-09 TSX) $7.69
Distance Collar
23916-PNS-000 (28x35x24) (02-06 RSXS/04-09 TSX) $4.24

and also what should i exect a shop to charge me for this?

Oh and i know there was already a thread on this but people had mixed things, some people had some stuff while others didnt so i just wanted to know what all i need. thanks!

all the parts i used for adding the tsx 6th--just around 50k miles right now without fault. no clue as to what a shop would charge, as i did the work myself. being that it is a forum and this is not exactly a factory modification, there will always be some discussion behind it :shrug:

Man that doesnt look expensive at all. I thought i read you couldnt get individual pieces? This is encouraging! Its about time i learned transmissions anyways...

it was about 300 in parts--it was a giant pain in the ass to do, but thats probably because i never did it before :mtongue: lol

so you can really put a 6th gear in a 5spd tranny casing? wow thats awesome

Yeahh haha, but thats all i need? Im scared to go inside of my tranny.. never messed around with them (always afraid of messing up hah) but maybe i'll give this a try
