i saw there is another thread on this but it kinda never took off so i figured i would post another one

I bought these after i saw someone bought them for his type s and he said they made a difference so i figured what the hell why not for only $35

here is the link
http://www.mtecind.com/

There is a full DIY with pics if you have trouble, shouldnt take more than 15 mins or so to install

I purchased the sport springs as this is my DD but some say the race are also good for DD but who knows and i wanted to play it safe

Along with these springs i have the bc short shifter, skunk2 knob and corport shifter base and cable bushings. Overall review is these are great and make the shifter so nice and firm and quick. I highly suggest getting these as they are cheap and easy to install and make a big difference

Might have to try this out...

So you went with the sport ones and they feel a little better over oem, so race woukd be great as u mentioned it is still proper for dd ?

the sport are more than enough for me for a dd, they make a huge difference and are stiff. Race springs are for non dd's, and i feel that is true because the sport ones are stiff enough

these springs go in the shifter assembly on the tranny where the shifter cables begin, around the area where you put in shifter cable bushings...there is a DIY on the site with pics

this is the part you take out of the car

this is what you get when you take it out of the car, you can see the two springs....one is inside the other
