View Full Version : Frank build Question on Sensors

I was putting together a K24/k20 build and was wondering if all the sensors from the A3 be used on the Frank build and if there were any difference, my build is a K24a1 bottom and K20a head, thanks

The k24a1 and the k20a3 are direct sensor swaps from one to the other. Even the crank sensor. The k20a head will use the same sensors too... even the cam sensors and temp sensor. There was debate on VTEC spool usage... although both types plug in the same, look the same, and bolt on the same (differing part #'s). I dont know if it was ever panned out that you could use a 2 lobe spool on a 3 lobe head.

I'm using all a3 sensors and harness for my itr k20a swap. I believe the only sensor that is an issue is for the tranny, the reverse lock out sensor. I don't think there are any other sensor issues.

so youre saying that I can use the VTC Spool valve assembly from the a3 on my K20a head?
