What is the difference between a K20a2 & K20a3 Intake manifolds?? Does an A2 bolt onto an A3? What are the advantages of both? blah blah blah.... thanks in advance

the ep (k20a3) and rsx type s (k20a2) both use the same intake manifold.

Depends on the years.

The later years, i believe, have larger runners?

don't quote me on that because i thought the A2 was different.

My guess is the EP3 K20A3 Intake is the same as the RSX-S K20A2 but not the same as the RSX K20A3 wich is made of plastic.

Now that you said RSX base and EP3 have the same engine (also by research), which one is faster stock? I'm thinking RSX.

wrong.

ep3 is faster. our manifold gives us more power while their manifolds robs them of 10-20 hp

Ahh so I made the right choice :D Plus it's surprising how our cars are lighter. Right?

cars are about the same weight. both are rated at 2600 curb weight. but i think ours can be made lighter

Yah we can cut our cars in half.
