k24a1 on A3 block benefits?

my head on my a3 is fucked from a spark plug blowing its way out the top, i wanted to port and polish but i've heard the k24 head is better flowing, i have a2 cams and stuff for vtec killer, will the better flowing head of the k24a1 or a4 be more beneftital than an a3 head?

a1 is best, im almost sure the a4 head is like the a3.

would the a3 intake manifold fit just fine with it on there, no modifications would need to be done to it?
