So I've read up on several forums about this, but no answer is clear.

Short shifter, is it bad on my car?
Will it screw up my transmission?

if you shift like a dumb ass fuktard then yes.. other than that no. shifting w/o using a clutch is the reasons why tranny's fail

the short answer is, yes short throw can speed up the process of wearing out synchros. will it necessarily destroy a transmission? no. the more you beat on it as you row through the gears the faster it will wear. if you pay attention to how you drive, the difference will be negligible. i've put alot of miles on various short throws and i can't say any of my cars are showing signs of shift grinds.
