I found a person locally that is selling a 2002 civic si in white with 40k miles for $7,000. The vehicle is stock and no accidents. Paint is good and only small ding on the drivers side door. Sorry no pics because its in the paper. Im going to try to talk her down to $6,500. My ep3 got stolen last year and I want to get another ep3 because I miss my hatch. Tell me what you think. thanks

I got my 02 SSM for $9K at 97k miles. It was from a dealer though. Repairs and stuff I had to do came upto about $1K

Sounds like you really have a good deal there, but it looks too good to be true. Take it to a mechanic and get it checked up.

Awful deal. Definitely no good. I would feel terrible if someone got sucker'd in to paying so much for a car with that many miles. Seriously 40k on an accident free 02 and they want 7,000! Unbelievable!

Just for good measure you should send me the contact info so I can "take care" of this deal!

Ok, seriously... That's a GREAT deal. As long as there's no problems that aren't being disclosed.

I bought my 03 last november with 119,000 on it for $6,500. Excellent condition, one owner. Highway miles. Basically brand new... just with 119,000 miles on it! haha. I've already got it up to 140,000 because of my 45 mile commute each way to work and back every day!

edmunds.com puts it in at around $8,000 for private party selling price and $9,000 for dealer. Jump on it! If you don't, I will!

good deal man! My 04 ssm with 38k miles was $10,000 when I bought it. Same miles and $3,000 cheaper? I'd take it!

only issue is the squeaking clutch when i press down on it. i hear the sound inside. i tried looking it up on this site and other civic sites but no luck. the only thing i was able to find was a service bulletin for it but is there an easier fix or diy? pls help. i want to buy it before someone else does. ty.

Mine had same issue, work some good quality grease into the area where the rod enters the clutch master cylinder inside the car. It took a couple of tries to get the grease where it had to go, but after over a year and many miles, not a peep out of it yet.
