A2 Oil Pump Question

I highly doubt that it has to be timed, the service manual doesn't mention anything like that in it either. It should be constantly driven regardless of chain position. I'd get the a2 chain just to be safe, but you might want to compare the part #'s for they could be the same for all I know

The a2 oil pump chain tensioner is the same as the a3. You need the a2 chain and guide along with the pump.
