Well... at the moment I have CF trim kit on my center dash and I want to repaint it to the original Silver once I take all the cf off.

I know I'm a have scuffs and light scratches and want to repaint, but that color matches the stock silver?

I know this was on here a while back, but I cant find it.

I used SEM 39283 ( Light Titanium Metallic). You can order that online or go to a automotive paint store , they should have it most of the time.

I used a duplicolor paint from autozone. Ill get the code tomorrow and post up. In the meantime heres a pic for reference. I painted my din surround to match the oem center piece.

What am i missing on the end of my shift boot? The silver ring on the end of my shift boot rides up over the lock nut under the shift knob and bugs the crap out of me. I have the same knob as the two posts above. Does the type r boot have a different silver ring where the boot meets the knob?

The one that goes over the stock shift knob is the USDM one... but the other one is the JDM one... :-)

I bet there's people on here that would trade you the CF trim for their unmolested piece.

HAHA... I really tried to get the CF off carefully to hook up another fellow ephatcher, but the F-ing thing ripped half way through. That stuff was stuck on with super glue or something. LOL

Thanks for the info guys... I repainted mines and it came out great. I even repainted the little silver pieces on the door handles. They were a little worn out from the years of use.

Finished Product!

OP, what color did you end up using and how close of a match was it?

How bout you? Ever get the color code cause yours looks pretty damn close to a match.
