Hey guys, just as the title says, my e brake light won't turn off, however it still is fully functional I'd really just not have that damn light on all the time! Thanks in advance.

If it matters:
02 Civic SiR (Canadian)
no big upgrades that would have any effect on this.

That could be an issue with the braking system. Check your fluids and lines and such... You could be low on fluid or have air in the lines.

It could be the switch on the lever is misadjusted.

Yep, yep, and yep. Most likely the fluid but if that doesn't do it check the switch.

Yup. Check fluid first. But if your fluid is low you might want to check the lines and calipers for leaks.

hey like they said check low brakes fluid but if its full its the master cylinder cap . to test it remove the cap and move the float up and down by hand while still connected see if the brake light goes off inside if no the master cylinder cap can be broke
