You might have a reflash. Does it redline at 7400 in all gears (at least the first 3)?

our tach's are inaccurate in the high rpms they can b slightly off or way off. my car would read 7200 redline when i was completely stock

reflash sets the redline at 7700 rpm

I thought it was 7800k, close enough. I haven't redlined my car yet. I have to try one day.

.yea.

They raised the upgrade to Kpro from $500 to $800. You probably think it was worth it back then before they did this, but if this is true (since its on their website) then maybe you should just save up for a kpro instead of doing a reflash and upgrade to kpro after?

i bought the reflash about a year and a half ago when it was $600? or somewhere around there...upgrading to kpro was kinda a no brainer since i ended up doing stage 3 cams and all that crap, i also got a discount on kpro since i had the car tuned where i bought it

OP, just remove your ECU and if it has a USB port, then you may have k-pro.

"K20A3-Si ECU flash program 7700 rpm REV limit - $295"
"k100 - $600"

I'm guessing you got the k-100 but at one part it says that k1 is "The same price as the reflash - $600". Contradicting the statements above? Unless you had an engine swap (K20A ECU flash program 5200 VTEC and 8800 rpm REV limit - $595)

The K100 is no longer available, and it was for pre "K" series engines, copy and pasted fro Hondata, """Note: The k100 is only available in Europe and Asia, and is not available in North America. Most people are advised to consider the reflash or programmable ECU.""""

Honda lost a class action lawsuit because their odometers and tachs read approx 10% too high, this had the affect of getting vehicles off warranty quicker.

they just lowered the price of the reflash, it used to be $600

So they dropped the reflash and increased the upgrade? Makes sense.
