hey guys since its started raining my cai seems to be trying to suck up water it gets super drowned out inside the car so i just let it idle when it does this. and from what ive read the v2 is pretty good. so for the 300 or so bucks should i get it? id rather that then buy a new engine

And if your lucky you may be able to find one used for WAY LESS then $300. I have a Type-S v2 and it has a beefier sound than the normal A2... ;-)

going from an aem v2 to a gutted stock box with a k&n filter to a 3' aem cold air. i would say the aem v2 "performed" the worst, had great sound but thats it. i noticed more torque and better gas mileage with the gutted stock box. being as you are affraid of water i would say the stock gutted box would be your best choice
