So after all the hooplah and what not i have the car back from the body shop and shes better then ever!

Story about myself and this car:
I had an 03 ep3 when the 03's were released. in 2007 i traded it in for a truck becuase i had a motorcycle and a crx and the ep. I needed a winter car. the ep3 was traded in and i made 4 grand in trade for it. So it seemed like a good deal at the time. about 3 months later i instantly missed my ep. Ever since then i have been searching for the perfect ep. Well after dealing directly with skunk2 for a while i finally found it. they had offered the ep at a price i couldnt refuse, so i took it. My future wife and i flew out to california with our friend Eric. We picked up the car and drove it across the country. While driving across the country i asked my girlfriend to marry me. i proposed in front of the water show in front of the bellagio. She said yes, we hit the casino's and had a great night then finished the drive across the country in this beautiful car.

Enjoy

Props on the proposal. New car and fiancé in one trip...sweet. FYI I was married at the Paris in Vegas, highly recommend it. Beautiful, fun, relatively inexpensive, and STRESS FREE. Oh and reception not neccessary because it's in Vegas!

I hope not! It's part of Ep3 and Skunk2 history with those stickers. Hell I have the Super Street build up of this car over a few issues.

exactly. thats how i feel. if i strip everything off its then just another white ep3...i dont want that.

Do you have the isue number etc. i am gonna contact superstreet and try to get a reprint.

im trying to get all the stuff related to this car. skunk2's catalogs, magainzes etc.

if anyone has anything that they are willing to send etc let me know. i will pay for shipping.

i'm happy that this car ended up with someone that appreciates it and not some chump teenager.

def keep the vinyl. maybe not the michelin one, but def keep the ones along the sideskirts.

Well of course if you want a reception I'm sure you can find accomidations somewhere. We just took over the club at the Paris, forget what it's called, it was great. I'll post a couple of wedding pics later so you see how our experience was.

my wife and i got married at the top of the eiffel tower at the Paris Hotel. its rather nice. we did it in the morning, so the view wasn't as cool as it would have been had we done it at night. it was really easy. the packages that they offer take care of everything. low stress!

I believe we got the Merlot Package it was about $2k and included pretty much everything a but a reception but then paid another $1k for ALL the photos and the license for them...they don't mention that til after the wedding, they haggle with you to buy the photos and even let us do a payment plan. All in all I believe we spent about $3k but we got a lot for it. It was in October of last year. I was 100% happy and satisfied.

GOOD LUCK w/the planning and congrats again!! :hay:

I duno, tires are michelin pilot spot cups ( 225/40/18) an awesome tire, but very pricey. 300$ a rubber is expensive when their are so many other more affordable tires that are as competitive as this one. I would love to stay on michelins, but depending on budget and stuff next year we will see. thats the goal is to keep them on their, but they are worn down and next season i need new rubber. $1200 is a lot to spend on tires for a car i only drive when its nice out and ill be bringing to the track.

PS sorry i couldnt figure out how to do multiple quotes...

i might try some other brands... Continnetal Extreme Contact DW ...150 a tire..i have heard good things about them.

There are a few others, Mainley some Toyo's. i saw some nice toyo's that were about $160

If you can get a michelin for 200ish walk away from the others.....when I had 500whp that ps2 was the shit in all weather. I would fly on wet roads and it has a 220aa i think tread wear rating. I did more 70-170mph pulls with that tire than I can count. I worked at Discount tire co. for 5+ yrs and once I finally had a set of those I knew why most high end cars had them.....Super super quite as well.

sorry for the noob question but i heard 18's rub on eps. do you have that problem at all?

ImportCustomx
09-30-2010, 11:00 AM
nope. no rubbing. if i dumped the car then they'd rub and if i go 60 over speed bumps then they'd rub..under hard cornering etc..no rubbing. fit fine.

get 17's though..tires are like 100$ cheaper ea. trust me. tires are fuckin expensive when you have 18's

sorry for the noob question but i heard 18's rub on eps. do you have that problem at all?

i rock 18's dumped. i had to roll and trim the rears, and its still rubs just a tiny bit on hard bumps or turns.

Importcustomx... nice ride, glad to see it went to a good home
