on the second page is a clear picture of what you're supposed to disconnect. Kseries doesn't have pics for that section but just follow the directions and unplug the green and grey thingy.

yea, i took this picture.
The disconnect

and in referance to where that plug is located.

Its pretty easy to do. Just main thing is, dont pull down. The brackets that hold in the clips on the back are a bitch to stick back into place if they get ripped off.

So unplugging it, what does this exactly do for those that don't know what you guys are talking about.

If they are connected, You hold the button to slide the sunroof open and it will open. You push it to slide it close and it will close halfway and then stop. You have to let go and push again to close all the way. Unplugging this will let you close the sunroof in one motion.

Wow I am going to have to do this myself cause that crap gets on my nerves. Dreading on taking the headliner down and putting it back up though cause have done it in my buddies mk3 supra and it was a pain.

It's really simple, here are some pictures I took when I did it. I actually made a DIY but it got crashwiped. Don't have the patience to write it again.

Hmm...maybe just post up a quick description and link to the album in the DIY section, so all the new owners coming in lately have at least something to look at LOL!
Good lookin' out man! :thumbu:

So i'm a little confused, does this mean i can press it once and it will go all the way back, like our driver side window when you are pushing it down? Or does this just make it not stop halfway through when your closing it?

When you are closing the sunroof it will go halfway and stop then you will have to hit it again to close it all the way. If you undo that clip it will close all in one motion without stopping.
