so i got to pass CA smog coming up in dec. i hae a race header now. im debating weather or not to pick up an ITR with cat and just run that or get a new oem cat and use my oem manifold to pass. does the ITR header clear the oem sway bar? what would you do?

Yes the ITR setup clears the oem sway. The ITR setup is basically a raceheader with a metallic(? i think) cat. Also youll need to run an o2s extension
