Hey guys, Before I lower my car on Tein S-Tech Springs on Stock Suspensions should I get a camber kit? I've been asking around most of the people I asked they said No and my mechanic said yes (maybe he wants the money) haha so I was just wondering if I should the camber kit. If I was to get camber kits its going to be "Ingalls". So yeah I hope you guys could lead me to the rite direction. Thank you and have a nice day/night!

It's a nice addition to your car. It has some good things that it can do but I don't think it's that major. I'm planning to get the camber kit so I rotate tires less.

to correct camber ,yes they are needed

if your worried about running through tires, an allignment will fix your toe and wont eat up tires

camber kit ftw

Also lets you dial in a more aggressive handling setup if you wish :)

You didn't mention what your expected drop will be, and that would determine if you definitely need to run the camber kits to avoid camber wear on your tires.

I look at it this way. When you install lowering springs on struts/shocks, and re-install the suspension in a car, even with a minor drop your alignment specs w/o the camber kits will fall within a fixed range of adjustment. That adjustment "range" could put you somewhere that allows faster camber wear on the tires and could allow ill handling characteristics. Why take that chance? With the camber kits installed, the alignment can be set at a fixed, optimal adjustment setting to promote handling and tire wear. Just my .02 worth.

I forgot to add its going to be on Stock Rim 15" and The Tein Springs should be a 1.5" drop.

my suggestion is if ur going lower no matter what get a camber kit only because if u advance to coils thats one less thing to buy later. Plus if you buy it now u can correct any camber u have if needed fairly easy

Yeah
get a camber kit

Stock, the front is adjustable to a certain degree
Enough to get it to 0 if you want
I have mine stock at -1

You'll need one for the rears.

After I installed my skunks with 2.5" drop, I had -1.5 and +1 in the front
And -2.5 and -3 in the rear.
My toe wasn't too bad
fronts were at about 1/6" and 0" in the front
My rears were actually fine.

I found my aftermarket camber kit was more beefy than the stock one so its worth it to me
