So this is my car: http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r101/Pistol_Polish/Car/2010-09-19_16-19-19_646.jpg

What do you all think about this lip?

Does anyone have this lip on an SSM? Also (as you can tell) I do have foglights and I read around that trimming them may be necessary? Can anyone confirm this? Lets see what the ep community thinks!

P.S Yes I know my car is filthy... will get a bath later today hopefully :)

I REALLY HATE THAT LIP, it is just to...ermm "fake/cheap looking" it claims to be somewhat "jdm" or "mugen"... and correct me if i'm wrong but that is sold on ebay, I'D SAY GET A REAL LIP, I KNOW YOU MAY SPEND 2X BUT THEN YOUR CAR WILL THEN BE THAT MUCH BETTER LOOKING

WELL IF YOU DO WANT IT, JUST GET IT COLOR MATCHED SO IT LOOKS BETTER, OR IT'LL LOOK LIKE A "CARDBOARD LIP"

i had money to spend on a lip, about $500, i was thinking of this lip... 1/10 stars for look, the other lip sold on ebay with holes on the end not the slits "MG style" 8/10, HFP 10/10, , type r style 10/10

I currently have the HFP and the way it fits is FLAWLESS! NO BOLTS/SCREWS IN THE FRONT

JUST MAY OPTION IF I WERE TO GET A LIP

I think it's too much. I'd get something like this:

Wrd, don't do it! IMO, the fitment always looks off when these lips are intalled, even when they are painted. Installed my HFP front lip a couple months ago and love it!

I'm kind of neutral on the look of that lip. I wouldn't install one on my car that uses a bag of screws like that to install it. Once installed, and you decide you don't like it, or want to replace it, you have a lot of holes to repair in the bumper.
If you pay a body shop to color match that lip to your car, you'll probably have enough money in it to have installed a factory HFP lip w/ better quality and fitment and factory paint.
If you do decide to buy that lip, I think I would look for a different seller. He has a lot of neutal and negative feedback and seems to find a way to blame the buyer for the problem in each of those auctions.

IMO you have a good start with your car, I like the headlights - love the rims - and the foggies, go with a legit lip.
