View Full Version : how do i install new tps?

I just got my after market tps since my mechanic said i needed a new one , so instead of paying him to install it id figure id try and do it myself . Anybody know how???

I believe it involves slotting the two bolts that hold the stock TPS in to turn them into flathead screws. Easiest way to do this would be to remove the TB entirely.

do ihave to take off the bumper its a pretty tight squeeze from the tps to the bumper

Yeah... you need to #1 Remove the TB... #2 use a dremmel to slot a hole big enough for a LARGE flat head.... #3 Turn and remove... LOL

Yeah... I got the OMNI-POWER TPS... my car is acting up once again. I might just needs a new TB.... :-(

i messed around with the blox tps unit for awhile. car ran like crap and what not after i set the tps and whatnot. shelled out cash for a new tb from honda. ep runs great now
