Go to the hondata website and look for an authorized dealer. It changes the ecu to run more aggresive than stock.... Kpro is the way to go if your planning on doing more upgrades in the future.

if i had the money i would go BOOST KPRO K20A but i don't :(
is not that I'm against boost like other people that want all motor engines which is good, is just a money issue here!

beware that people who have the 04-05 PNF ECU can't get the reflash..

i don't know if this has ever been fixed.

I have an 02 Civic Si with an AEM CAI and DC Shorty Headers. While I would like to go KPro, it's too pricy for me so I was looking at ReFlash but everything I'm reading is saying that ReFlash is only making a minimal performance gain. Also, I did speak with someone at Hondata and they warned me that ReFlash is for "Off Road Use Only" and I may not pass an emissions test using it. Can anyone with ReFlash comment on this?

lol they just have to say that, you will pass....no way they can tell you have a reflash and you will see minimal gains especially since you have a shorty header, get a raceheader and you will see better results

Thanks for the input. Are you running ReFlash and do you notice improved performance? I definitely want to upgrade to race headers eventually but for now, it's my daily driver so I need to be able to pass MA inspection.

I don't have it on mine but I did dyno and raced next to a buddy with a EP3 who had it. All I can say is that reflash is a good item to get. I wouldn't say it would boast up your HP but you will see great changes on the torque.

A buddy of mine has the reflash. We had the same cai, shorty header just that he has a custom exhaust and reflash while I had the HKS and no reflash. Dynoed, and he gained + 2whp over mine, forgot the torque but I remember the torque graph between the both of ours with mine looking like mountains while his was a steady nice curve. We raced a couple of times and of all of the times we raced, he'll start pulling away right up to 3 or 4 cars and then it would be like that till 110mph. That was when I was convinced that Honda Relfash is a good item to get. Now even better would be K-Pro which would require more tuning.

Thanks for the input. I think I will give the ReFlash a try but I may wind up waiting until after the winter.

I just sent my ECU off to Hondata, I will let you all know the results. Currently I have the Skunk2 racing Headers and a K & N CAI.

Are there any mpg gains with the flash?

Are there any mpg gains with the flash?

If there is any increase in mpg it will probably be offset by the need for premium grade gas.

i know with Kpro, you can upload different maps for the different gas.

does the reflash require 93?

RHCP0801

it needs 91

Yes reflash needs 91 octane also for the mpg mine stayed about the same when i got the reflash.
