to everyone with a swap

Ive heard prices ranging from 4000k to 2800k for a swap. but my question is how much are you getting for your old motor? What is its value? Plus when you take in your car to get the ecu reprogramed how do they treat you?

I know that our motor thru honda for the motor and ecu is close to 9k. The K20a2 from Acura is at 8k. I dont know whats up with that but thats the prices I got from the two dealerships here.

I have no clue what my old motor is worth. I have had people tell me it's worth up to $3k to someone with a 7G Civic that wants to do a swap.

And the dealer that reprogrammed the RSX ECU to work with my key was way cool about it. All the techs and even a couple of salesmen were coming into the shop to see the car.
