anyone regret the color they chose?

Lately i've been a little remorseful about my color choice on the EP. When I went to the dealer there was 3 EPs.....all 02 (VBP being 04) all the same mileage and condition, but the color choices were NHBP, VBP, and my taffeta.

Lately...i've been wishing I had chosen the VBP. I feel like I could have done the VBP more justice and lets face it the VBP just looks better in pics.

Have you ever felt this way? In the end it's going to get custom paint but for now, I really wish I went blue!

When I went to pick my EP out I wanted blue, the only color that wasn't on the lot. they could have swapped one with another lot but the cost would have went up. Blue was the first pick but the SSM is so much easier to care for.

VBP is definitelly one of my favorites.
I personally wouldn't mind the taff through my eyes.

the taffeta cleans up nicely and is very handsome with the typical aesthetics.

if the previous owner neglected your paint as much as mine did you would hate having a black car, still need to get around to doing a full detail to remove some of the scratches from the clear, porter cable 7424 is my best friend

I wanted a taffy and bought one, but i do like the blue as well. Who knows maybe one day i will have both lol.

my first choice was TF, but i ended up finding a good deal on NHBP. the only thing i hate about my NHBP, is that all the scratches it came with are noticeable + i live in a desert-y area, so all this dirt is visible within 2-3 days of washing/waxing my car.

When I got mine, the stealership had about 16 EP3's on his lot, he couldnt give them away, LOL well at least he had to really drop the price. I had my choice of color and went with TW, I think I should have went with the silver, but oh-well, that will be rectified this coming spring with some Cosmic Grey Pearl, 8 years of Northeast winters do take their toll!

I wanted SSM, but all they had was black and it was toward the end of the '05 model year so they couldn't get silver. Oh well, I've grown to love black and all its cheetah-like swirl marky goodness.

I don't regret buying my car in VBP, but I do regret repainting it VBP. I did so much prep work to just give it the same color again. If I could go back I would repaint it the Pearl Red that that the Toyota's come in or Cosmic Grey. I'm planning on paying to get it repainted in the future so my option is still there ;-)

when i was looking to buy an EP years ago, i was deadset on finding a TW ep. looked at every EP in a 100 mile radius and couldn't find one. I ended up finding a clean NHBP EP with 36k & 1 previous owner that did every service at the dealership. I ended up getting a deal i couldnt say no to. I fell in love with it after the first wash. NHBP looks freaking sexy after the first wash. Some jackass drove his shitmobile into my EP and it was totalled.

I bought a second EP within a month after the accident. I drove 2,000 miles to drive my TW back home. Don't get me wrong but I was suprised that I didn't love it as much as the NHBP. As cheezy as it may sound: I guess you never forget your first, esp after all that blood, sweat, tears and a shitload of money.

I do love my TW though

Your taffy is pretty man. I'd definitely like a bigger shot of the one in your signature if you dont mind me asking. The Type S wheels and jdm bumpers make a world of difference. Is that a HFP spoiler?

The colors inorder that I wanted as blue, white or black. But the small dealership only had 2 EPs, silver and yellow. Of course I took the silver.

i wish i was Cosmic Gray Pearl... lol but im NHBP, and if its a USDM color, i'd go VBP, because black IS hard to keep clean (and so is white :)

the blue doesn't match teh red stitching on the interior to me but I do like the color. I like my SSM, its harder to get dirty than the black or white. I wish there was more color options available for the EP tho.

When I was looking for mine it was either NHBP or VBP, and I'm glad I chose VBP. When it's washed/waxed, it looks AMAZING, especially in the sun. Plus, I like not blending in with other cars, it's a great looking color and I think it looks even better on the '04-05.

Well when i got my car from the dealer my original color choice was white. The dealer only had 2 04 ep's on the lot the other ones were left over 03's. They didnt have any white ep's and i knew i wanted an 04 ep not an 03. So the colors they did have was NHBP and VBP with side airbags. I really wasnt sure what color to get but i decided on black because i didnt want the car to stand out like the VBP color did, and i didnt like how the side airbags looked on the seats. The other day when i was washing my car i kinda regret getting black because you see all the imperfections in the paint all the swirl marks and scratches. Also on really hot days the inside of a black car sucks. I really wish they had a white ep. The only thing i love about black is when it is clean it looks hella good and shiny. White cars i noticed no matter how clean it is or how well you wax it, it doesnt shine like black does.

was inspired by TW's with gold wheels and had the intention of buying a TW, but the dealer only had a NHBP with side airbags, so i bought it.

I agree that nothing shines like black but a clean white ep shines in its own way. believe me i still wash my ep 1-2 times a week just like i did with the black one.

I don't regret getting SSM, but I wish I got taffy instead, but I only bought mine because it was a really good deal, about 8.8 for an 05 with 28k miles. I just wish it was taffy white instead :(

Yeah i started with nhbp and since then it has been milano red and now it is fiji blue pearl ..... when I think about it though I think I love taffy white ep's the most and wish I would have just done that.

I wanted a VBP, actually I would have like any other color than SSM but it was the cheaper one. I wish I would have just spent the extra cash and get a VBP. I had a silver car before and now its all you freaking see on the road. At least SSM has a particular glow to it than other silvers

Mine was more impulsive - NHBP. If I could start over again, I'd likely pick Taffeta White. I don't see many modified Euro Yellow ones at all, even on EPHatch, so that would be another choice.
