Plans for the EP over the winter?

So I got tired of looking at the same topics and have seen a lot of new members interested in our cars lately. It got me wondering what peoples plans were for their cars over the winter. There seems to be a lot more parts and support for the ep3 than when I first started. I got to wondering what everybody was going to add or how they were going to enhance their cars for next summer. Engine swaps? Body kits? Bolt ons? Please post pictures to keep the thread interesting. Let's see what's in store for 2011!

well i got into an accident with my ep on august 16th. i was going to fix her up and just get the hood and fender installed and painted but then i said hey why not just get the jdm front, rear, and sideskirts and then paint her for next summer! so i got the parts! now im just waiting on the reinforcement bars that take six to eight weeks to get to my house. womp oh yea i also bought the jdm steering wheel (momo). i had to come out hard after my accident lol

Doing my interior. Rug, door panels, seats, cluster, cage, steering wheel, pedals, new tints cause my dog scratched them up when she was a puppy, remove sound deading, double din navi.

winter rims + tires , maybe powder coat my nice rims and pain them a new color, paint front bumper and paint rear bumper + side marker delete .

04-05 JDM front end reinstall the front sway bar and dcrh. Also install energy suspension front bushing kit.

send out coilovers to get inspected, try to find a deal om a hfp or type r wing...maybe polish it; since i was lazy to do it today..

Hits the garage for a couple months. Stage 2 clutch, custom intercooler piping so my rsx turbo kit fits, motor mounts, and a nice detail when the warm weather comes back.

Park it, start it up every so often, and If I can find some place to do some work on it, install my suspension. And if i come across some extra $, paint my bumpers and install them. But most likely, park it, start it up every week, and drive it around the block.

Install racelands, clearcoat and install cf fenders and cf mugen hood, install towhooks, black housing headlights, tune up, fix all other tweaks.

5 lug conversion with new 17'' wheels. RH with DC5 midpipe. That'll be it till I pay it off, unless something breaks.
p.s. (keep your eyes peeled for my 4 lug wheels hehe)

I plan on getting black skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body. Also getting a nice tune.

After that, new tires, new rotors...adjust valves etc

After that, clean the engine bay up. add some undercoating in certain area's.

Also gotta figure out a little oil leak near the lower pully seems like its coming from the little black plate. i think its for the tensioner. inspect it more once i have time.

i have an sc and a clutch to put into my car, but hopefully i'll be able to put that in before winter. we'll see whether time permits :shrug:

Anyways no plans here, well I might get my windows tinted but it's kind of low on the list of things for me to spend money on.

Put it up in the market, and also repair small things; alternator, belts, hoses, bushings, A/C charge, dents removed, fix pressure cracks on front and rear bumpers ( people in this town suck at driving), oil change back to 5w30, transmission oil changed, find time to put on my SS brake lines and clutch line, refinish my old head lights to go back to stock, Spark plugs, probably replace my tensioner its making noises, tie ends, replace rear blown struts, get alignment. List goes on and on

i had a similar leak i thought i was leaking from there too. later realized that the oil was leaking from the crank seal. its a pain in the ass to replace.

No plans for winter. Spent too much $ already. Prolly just gonna ONR in the garage to keep her sparkly ^_^

I just want my build to be done before the snow. Everything has been taking twice as long as I wanted it to. Building a hybrid k24/k20 turbo is a lot more involving that I thought it would be. That and getting shipped the wrong parts and dealing with dumbass people. I'm depressed when I think about it. Sigh

Maintenance:

Oil change before winter, new oem rotors/hawk hps pads all around

Looks:

Yellow fog lights, tint, paint center console black, might get another set of rsx blades to roll on during winter, might also do the blue door inserts... we'll see.

Power:

Clean my K&N air filter. It's dirty! ;-)
