I tried posting this at the Tune Up section but fails only views, but yeah I was just wondering how to mod a stock air box? should I buy a filter? drill holes?

No drilling just cutting.

most of the guys went through this. Just smooth everything out in the end.

well just open you airbox and if you have a dremmel cutter it would be very easy
as you can see on the picture that wall you use that cutter that i mentioned and for the ribs you can just use a plier and snap it off
my mod isnt that really perfect cause i dont have a cutter but it turns out really nice and my throttle reponse is much better
and about the filter you can get a K&N

Works well, i did this 3 years ago to my car and installed a K&N. Good sound, probably a few ponies on the top end, but i think i did slow throttle response a little bit.

Is there any performance by gutting the air box? and could someone show me a picture of the out come of it? I'm not good with direction but I should know how to do it by looking at the picture. Thanks haha!
