If i upgrade my injectors and put the cc into kpro is it absolutely necessary to have a retune. I was tuned on 270s wanna go to 440s. If i have to retune im just going to wait and get tsx exhaust cams and rbc

Shouldn't need a retune for the injectors, but definitely should with the tsx exhaust cam and rbc IM.

Nope, should be fine just to adjust the CC in Kpro.

Technically all that is needed is to adjust the CC in Kpro, but in practice you may need to do a little street tuning.

You have vtec killer like me you will have to play with the cranking trim or base injector pulse for cranking. Some say to use cranking trim but your screwed if the weather changes like here -40 to -20 is a big difference therefore at one set cranking trim it would start but when warmer out it would flood the engine.

why are you trying to run bigger injectors to begin with? Are you maxing out the 270s and running lean?

You have to adjust the cranking trim clearly I'm sure if you try cranking it and remove your spark plugs they will be soaked.

Were those 440's new or properly cleaned and flow checked? and you DO NOT need even larger injectors!

I doubt you will get close to maxing out a set of 310cc's

I was flooding the engine during crank i just put the 270s back in im gonna wait till my spray set up is done then retune on larger injectors

Yeah, 310s will do. You do need to retune. i was running a3 w/ bolts-ons and had high 13s to mid 14s A/F ratio. Even though i changed the cal. to 310cc, it changed to 11- to low 13 A/F ratio.

Did you do what I suggested by using your tuned map with 410s and just decrease fuel by increments of 5-10% until the car starts. I think it might still be the same. I don't remember if your tuner knew that you were maxing your fuel?

Then you reduce your cranking fuel trim and or cranking injector pulse width in Kpro.

I recently had the opportunity to check out a set of ID725's, we were able to use them very succesfully on a A2 with only intake, header w/cat, exhaust and Kpro. These are fantastic injectors.
