Local is selling them for cheap ~ 500. Price makes me think fake, he claims real. The lugs also don't line up with the spokes, which is the usual telltale for Grids.
The wheels have just been painted again, so no stickers.
Any other thoughts?

True TE's will not line up with the spokes the best way to tell IMO is if the lug is deviated to one side of the valve stem, Rays stamp somewhere on the wheel, or on the inside nearest the hub

yours appear to be real, just bring a scale and some common sense when you go check them out
here is a simple weight chart to help you out

The wheels are 16 x 7's... the specific wheel that I've always wanted.
Awesome, that's exactly what I needed to know. Thanks guys.

One of them has a decent bend in it, but oh well. I'll see if I can't come up with a scale and scoop these up... assuming they weight out.

Mike, they look fake as HELL!!! Becareful....
Either way the true, absolute fail safe will be the stamp on the inside hub. It should say RAYS ENG, FORGED, MADE IN JAPAN, and the bolt pattern. Also as stated earlier the valve stem should NOT line up with one of the lug holes.
