Im ordering a set of 17x7.5 +45 wheels here in a bit but am stumped on tire size. My car tucks all the way around so its low. ALso need a suggestion on tires. I ran Yokohama S.Drives on my e30 and liked them, but would like some input.

Was thinking 215/45/17 but I have no idea.

Thanks.

Hankook Ventus v12's
cheaper than the Yoko's and will perform A LOT better. same basic tread design, the difference is in the rubber compound. every customer that wants performance for a bargain price I recommend those. size sounds closest to stock but may or may not fit.. how many inches are you dropped? are your fenders rolled?

Alright. What size should I go with? My car is dropped a lot on coilovers. Tucks the current 16s by a little all the way around.

measurements will be helpful.. your description leaves a certain level of ambiguity in the wording.. wheel/tire specs and height so that i know how it fits will be best..

Heres the car. Not too sure whether to go with the 40 or 45 series sidewall.

New wheels will be 17x7.5 +45.

I'd run 215/45/17.Those hankooks mentioned earlier are a good choice as well.

Run the 215's they will look better on it, and I would say depending on your wallet size, the Hankook Rs3's or the same Im running on mine, the BFG KDW 2's. I have had no problems outta these they provide great traction and look amazing. The only thing (if you wanna call it a bad thing) is the road noise... its not super bad but its louder then your normal Kumho's or Michelin's or regular passenger tires. But with a harder compoun rubber you will have to sacrifice your noise for the amazing grip you will get from them.

I ran the KDW2's (215/45/17) and they do grip very well but when you get more miles on them the road noise gets louder. I now run the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's (225/45/17). The grip is just as good if not better then the KDW2's, you dont get all the road noise as the KDW's, i believe they are cheaper, but they dont look as cool as the KDW's.

Running the same with the same tires. Very good tires! Hankook evo v12
