Is that even possible? I thought RH requires cat delete.

Some members here have had a cat custom welded to the end of their race headers. Whether its worth it and would pass smog?

I have passed both OBDII and a actual emissions test. I put down 248whp N/A with one of those custom cats....

The Car-Sound cats have superior flow than a stockie, and if you spend just a little more for the metallic core cat you will see gains down low and very little loss up top compared to no cat.

Can i just take it to a muffler shop and have them weld the oem cat on raceheaders?

I am sure you can have them weld an oem can onto a race header but that kinda defeats the whole purpose of a race header. If your going to do that why not just get a shorty header.

The stock cat is far too long to weld up, you will have less than 10 inches of space for the cat when the RH is installed.

Not too mention the stock cat will totally defeat the race header.

HFC have passed emissions in other states i dont know about California. When i needed to smog my car i just put the stock header and cat back onto the car. I do know the OEM ITR header and cat will pass CA Smog and it is a 4-2-1 design and gives pretty good gains.

In california, you might as well put back your stock header or a carb legal shorty header.
