If I'm just cruising at any speed in any gear the car will "hiccup/jerk" as if you tap the brake hard for a second and let go. At times if I accelerate hard it will idle really low and then high to catch itself and not die out. I've been told its possibly clutch related, fuel pump, throttle sensor, just woundering if anyone has any input on this. Also sometimes in first gear it will take off way faster than it should with me slightly pushing the gas then stop and go normal. Stock a3 with cai and 2.5 inch midpipe to stock muffler...mods been on for 3 years.

First try a ECU reset, pull the ECU/FI fuse in the underhood fusebox for 60 seconds, then reinsert the fuse and start the engine and do a idle relearn(best to already warm up the engine before doing this).

It might be possible that you have a vaccum leak.

Almost sounds like an erratic TPS signal.

This was my thought....searched honda tech and came across this solution too but for older civics but still...
