yup, after 3 wonderful years of ownership i totaled my 2003 ep3. it happened about a month ago and im still bummed about it. i bought a 1989 camry for an A to B car, but i obviously still miss the ep3 pretty bad. hope i can come across another one in the near future. i will still visit this site because its a great community.

honestly, i kinda wanted to try and fix it. but i didnt even fully own it yet, was still making payments and im in college making payments and that was tough. so it being considered totaled by the insurance kind of helped me out for right now, and i have gap insurance too so now the car is payed off and i dont need to be a stressed for money. it sucked but it works out

thanks. i jsut hope this camry holds up for the mean time. in a few months i should be able to save up some money. i really miss my honda, i might start looking for an eg soon, missing the hatchback feel. o and i also just got a 91 prelude that a family friend was giving away. that should be a fun little project car. anyone know anything about that gen of preludes?

Wow that sucks man. I totaled my car 4dr civic before i bought the ep and I know how bad it feels to wreck a car you've been working on. Best of luck on your next couple of projects though! Looks like you'll have your hands full of good times!

Edit: That prelude b series is NOT the same as the b series we love today. from the little i've read, parts are not interchangeable. i almost got one too...

yeah the prelude just fell into my lap. i have to do some research on them because i know almost nothing about this series. hopefully parts wont be too expensive for it. right off the back i know i need a windshield and tires/alignment .

That damage actually doesn't look too bad. I'm surprised it's totaled. New rad support, hood, coolers, bumper and rebar.

yeah thats what i thought, i feel like they could have ruled either way. needed new headlights and obviously a paint job. they fair market valued the car at 7,500. i figured all the repairs would have cost about 4-5 g's. but im no professional, so i dont know

Sorry to hear about your EP bro.

I just bought one with similar damage.

The previous owner smashed into a deer and it's not been a fun ride to say the least!

Nice Camry as well...

Just sold mine to the local junk yard.

She finally died on me at alittle over 400k lol
