Steering wheel column clicking?

When I accelerate I hear a clicking noise on the column. Only in the beginning when my car starts accelerating in each gear change or going from neutral to accel

Is it a clicking or a creaking noise? Mine does a creaking noise and I was told I have to pull the steering rack boots and grease up the joints, then replace the boots. Apparently they're held in with zip-ties whereas hose screw-clips would work much better. Honda will tell you to replace the whole steering rack...

Mine will only do it under acceleration like you are experiencing, but that's because it's when I turn the wheel ever so slightly to keep it going straight, not when I make a fast turn.

A single click when at very low speeds you get on and off the gas usually indicates a loose suspension component or subframe
