Hey guys I'm am building my turbo finally. I am wondering what turbo I should use. A lot of people say 60 trim .63ar are very good, I was wondering how my own tranny will hold up? My car just hit 33k and my clutch was replaced about 10k ago with just an oem... Will the turbo be too much for it? If so what turbo should I go with to releave stress on my tranny if possible.

Thanks giys
Thanks guys

yes, you should upgrade your clutch.
At least to a stage II
Go with a garrett or presicion snail

I had a turbonetics t3t4 60 trim and i was nice on my a3. It made 260ish whp with 220trq (i think those are the correct dyno numbers), i also ran it with the stock clutch for over 10k miles. When i upgraded, the stock clutch was still in decent shape. The springs felt alil loose but it wasnt hammered or anything.
I think my car had 18k miles when i turbo'd it.. hope this info helps you out.

If you just replaced the clutch, you will be good for a while. I turbo'd mine at 63k miles, and the stock clutch held up for 2 years of asshole driving and drag racing. Was making 267 at the wheels on a mustang dyno. Don't go above a stage 2 for a street car, if you do decide to upgrade. I would rock the stock clutch for now, and put money towards a good turbo. Precision sells a ball bearing 58/58e for about $1100. Spools fast, and more reliable than journal bearing.
