there are crv brakes you can do on a 4lug...5-lug swap will get your rsx/tl/tsx brakes

The best upgrade is the DC5S or even the DC5R brakes.

Basically, anything he can do you can do too. Of course you being 4 lug is going to severely limit your options. The obvious and most common being the Type-S upgrade. I believe the s2k front rotors are the same size as the type-s rotors as well. The TL is an option, but the burliest stock setup is the all mighty RL setup. 4 Piston Caliper with a 12.6" rotor.

This guy is using the RL calipers, with a DC5/S2k sized front rotor. 11.8" I believe?

Of course you would need a fastbrakes.com caliper braket kit, and to have the rotors redrilled. For the money you would spend in all of this, you're probably better off with just going with an aftermarket kit. Or just get braided lines, new rotors and some hawk pads and call it a day, while probably maintaining the same brake performance for a fraction of the cost.

can it be done? Sure. Is it a good idea? Probably not, as messing up the cars brake bias is a sure fire way to having longer stopping distances.

I wonder if your friend bothered to calculate out and compensate for the difference in brake torque between the two systems.... else he may have a stiff brake pedal, but he's also got longer stopping distances.

This is an article for an integra 11.1 brake rotor upgrade. This should still work on our 4 lug EP3's http://www.team-integra.net/forum/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=15&TopicID=241262&PagePosition=1

I dont think the GSR mounting points are the same as our ep. We are very similar to the em1/em2. Thats a lot of work for that kinda upgrade. I rather just spend the $4xx and get a full bbk. You have to redrill rotors for a 4x100 setup....also precisely grind 3mm off of the bracket
