Idle valve block off plate ?

has or does anyone use the block off plate that karcept' sells ? I have a aftermarket tb and it doesn't a port for it so I disable the idle valve... the EP runs fine but I can feel the valve wants to kick in

If you have a TB without a IACV spot then the IACV does not kick in nor can you feel anything from the IACV. as soon as you have a season change you will have issues with the idle(not that sandiego sees any kind of weather changes, LOL) or head up into the mtns and you will see your idle change.

You can use the blockoff/relocation plate to install the IACV without having a TB originally equipped with one, you would need to modify the mani with a nipple/port.
