Hey All,

Need to replace my 100% stock pads and rotors - I dont think I need calipers. What is the most economical way to do this myself. Honda wants to kill me price wise. Should I go to Autozone buy the parts and have a little shop do it?

What do you experts advise that I do?

Thanks in advance this is a great resource for this great little car!

Regards,

Eric

do it yourself and save a couple hundred. also at the same time you'll get better than oem parts. here's a great DIY written by MugsyTheGr8: link (http://forums.clubep3.com/showthread.php?t=707207)

you can easily do it in a day. you won't need any special tools which is a bonus

blanks and slotted rotors are ok. stay away from cross drilled. i have powerslot's on mine. for pad i'm running hawk hps pads. i've heard nothing but good things about grandsport 6 pads for oem replacement. everything i've mentioned so far is readily available at tirerack.com. they're customer serivice is great but you could probably find it else where for slightly less.
