Crank No Start: Intermittent

My 04 EP3 at times just cranks and doesn't start but when I shut it off, release the clutch and restart.....it fires right up. This doesn't happen all the time, just randomly. Car runs perfectly fine aside that concern. Has anyone else had this problem before? Could it be the factory alarm or immobilizer? Bad ECU? Bad Key? Thanks in advance.

winter fuel blend issues

Pull the ECU/FI in the underhood fusebox for 60 seconds and do a idle relearn.

if it were an immobilizer issue the green key light in your cluster would be flasing

I agree with doug that it is a fuel system issue. Start with the re learn and go from there. Check pressure next.
