View Full Version : Silver Interior Trim Pieces To Be Changed To What Color?

I have a complete extra set of interior pieces.

The center console and the door inserts that are stock silver.

Since i just bought all new trim pieces i was wondering what color would be different to spray the old pieces?

Don't know if i am going to use them or not but maybe switch em out from time to time.

I also have an extra gauge bezel I may do with these pieces?

Any ideas other than black or keeping them silver?

Like i said i have an extra set now and may do red suede to match the door inserts...

Don't know if that would be too much or not though...lol

I always thought a gunmetal/darker silver would look good.

They laid me off bro!

The only good thing is i came across some cash and may end up building something at my house that i can do some side work in.

I guess that's one good thing about having 6 extra acres of land! lol

BTW I still have to talk to one of my buddies if you want the hook up on getting that lip kit sprayed at a good price!

Yeah I'm down man, I'll PM ya. I've been busy as shit trying to get my house ready for the holidays so it wouldn't be for a little while. Maybe you can do it if/when you get your booth put together?

Yea i have to do something.

I don't know what it's going to take but i know that it won't be an exact body shop set up.

It would run me 80gs to put up a some what decent booth and who knows what the neighbors would think of that! lol

i thought about painting mine gun metal too, match my rims...

I painted mine a metallic silver.. it looks 10x better.

I wouldnt touch the guage bezel. you will get mad glare if you paint it anything.

I have flattening agent that won't give these pieces shine as well as flat clear that will leave them a flat color oppose to a glossy clear coat!
