I think that's too big for our cars, maybe 205/60/16 would be your safe bet.

Here's a bad photo of my car LOL, lowered a bit, 205/55/16 and it's close to the upper and sides of the fenders already!

Best tire size is the stock tire size.

Your speedo must be really off with that tire size!

Well now i know they fit ;P but wouldnt there be a issue with the buildup of snow in and around the wheel? Mine is a 04 and has the fabric lining on the inside of the wheel wells

205/65/16 here too. The taller tires give you some ground clearance for the snow (especially if you are lowered), plus the taller, narrower profile lets you dig into the snow, instead of packing it down and spinning on top of it. My speedo is off by about two miles and hour off for the winter, so I make sure I go just a little slower. Of course snow tires don't handle as well, so you have to take every thing slower anyways.

The only issue during the winter time happens no matter what tire combo, and that is driving in slushy conditions, getting home and setting the parking brake, it can and will ice up and lock the E-brake.

On the back roads around here the snow tires perform surprisingly well during spirited driving, the issue is the road surface material, all the fun roads are a tar and stone chip surface, very sharp and will shred a soft summer tire in less than 2K miles if you drive them hard. A harder tire actually does better, the rubber doesnt shred/rip/tear as easily.
