Stance, hella flush shit. Don't flame me. I'm not really in the mood to hear how you think I should and shouldn't set up my car. I just want advice and help doing what I want to do to MY car. Thanks ;)

Currently have 16X8 +10 with a 205/40 stretched and I am looking to run 17x9s... Here's the catch; they're +20 or +25. They're the ikr rotas. Unfortunately there's a 3 month wait if I order them in a higher offset, but I plan to stretch a 205/40 on those as well. My question is how much further will the 9 wide +20 poke over the 8 wide +10s? I know there is a member on here with 17x9.5 CCWs and the stance looks fantastic. I don't mind running camber in the rear as well. Thanks in advance ladies :tehe:

If I'm correct, it will be 1/2 an inch, minus 10mm than your 16x8's.

So they would poke about .11 inches more than your current 16x8's

BTW what happened to your Grids offroads?

You'll poke only 3mm more but will have 23mm less inner clearance.

Yeaz br0 juz trade mi ur 5 lugz nd ish.

On a serious note though, the kid bailed on me because her blew his head gasket and is having a shop fix it (???) and the other 2 offers were "i gotta turbo 4 u, and sum cash on top".... Yeah.. No thanks.
Then the other offer was "I'll give u 200 cash LMK!!!!!!!!" They're fucking brand new. With tires!!! Lol craigslist is the new b20vtec.com

Soooo I'll be sticking with my wheels for a while, going to get some 45s for them so I'm not SO low.. I just wanted a crazy stance with super stretched tires... Maybe after income tax someone will actually carry them in 17x9 +35 like I wanted. Oh well!

Fight me adam

haha well if mine fit with a +35 the 10mm is not that much more of a diffrence. I mean it is when it comes to fitting with minimal camber but you said you dont care about that so i say just grab the +25's and make it work. It wont be to much of a difference from your current setup right now.

You think thats shady?? LIke 5 to 6 years ago drifters used to do shady stuff like this and actually hit the track with that set up lol. I know first hand because i did a few private events where almost all the cars there were like this lol. Smaller tires =cheap $$ and you know drifters and their fitment issues haha. Things have changed though not as many people roll like that at the track.

Hahah yeah well my friend has 17x9.5 vette saw blades with 215/45 falken 512s pulled on there so I was going to do either 205 or 215 just because the 45s he pulled have that extra sidewall to them, ya know.

And thank you 27rocks haha

And adam you're pussy call me tomorrow night I wanna go out.

I'd quote all of your posts but I'm on my phone, drinking wine in excess and stuffing my face with ham... Happy thanksgiving!

Yes, they're just so hard to find. Just like the offroads were for a while

And to add to that, there technically for staggered rear fitment. That's why there is an ik-f (not concave and widths below 9) then ik-r (concave and widths 9+). Front and rear. So depending on where you order them from they could give shit about the fact that you'd be buying 4 rears. Ya know

If i were you i wouldn't go any lower then a 225 but thats just me. You can even get a slight stretch on a 235 and still be able to make it work. And stretching a tire doesn't stiffen the sidewall it actually puts stress on it more then anything. It will still move just as much under load.

QFT and i'll just keep my mouth shut on the safety aspect of stretching. because it boggles my mind that people put themselves at risk like that

I don't have any good pics yet cause I'm waiting for my suspensions to get here. They are +25. Your going to love them if you getem. I've been waiting for the grid to come in concave and 4x100 for a long time. I was almost tempted to do a five lug awhile back just to get these wheels lols.

I guess because you don't actually know me you wouldn't know I would never use the term "h8r" in a serious manner. Especially to someone who is as nice and helpful as rob is.

Where did you get them? 18racing? How low are you?? I have them in 16x8 and they're too small. Ugh, you have me SO syked right now. I've been trying to find them since that VRT Miata was featured on hella flush with them.

take everything these guys say with a grain of salt.

You should be syked haaha... The picture I posted about isn't really a good representation of how the wheel sits. It actually has very little camber but my lense sorta turned it fisheye. I'll try to take some more pictures of it when the skies are clear. I'm on eibach pro kit with 1" drop. I'm not sure but I believe that specific miata have 35mm spacer conversion from 4x100 to 4x114. Awhile back they weren't making this kind of offset for fwd 4x100's.

Correct, he did have an adapter for 4x114.3, that's why they were like +12, or something insane hahaha. What size tire do you have?
I just wanna make sure I can still get relatively low with them

I'm running 215 40's and I have about 1/2"(eye measurement) wheel popping out. Once I get my coilovers I'm going to dump this bad boy and put about -2* of camber in the rear. The front seems okay(maybe -1*) but I honestly think that It's only going to look more aggressive.

That's dope, I didn't wanna have more then -2.5, 3 degrees ish. I can't wait
