going to first gear and car suddenly die. cranks but dont start. when giving it a little gas it ll start but die. check spark plugs and two them were a bit oily and car sounds like shit. did i blow my motor?

when you say "going to first gear and car suddenly die" does that mean you were driving your car and downshifted to first if so what speed where you at or does it mean your car was off and you put it in first and it wont start?
