i took the crz to JohnnyDangers southern indiana road meet, and wanted to run my good tires that i have on my black rsx wheels, so i swapped wheels for the weekend, so crz went on the ep for safe keeping haha...i actually think the design looks good, thopugh i prefer having black wheels and the rsx blades dont look modern enough on the crz...i think i may paint the oem crz wheels black when the tires need replaced...id post the picture of the white crz with the rsx wheels, but the picture is junk...

and here is when i had some time attack stripes on them for a few months...they got damaged when i had the tires changed out so i removed them...they were fun for a time and didnt cost anything...i think i should do them again end of winter

there is a guy in so fl selling a set of crz wheels with 100 miles on the stock tires for only 450. i would say thats a good deal. i just got a set of 05 rsx type s wheels i have to repaint them and get tires. stuck trying to figure what size tire to go with 215-45-17 or 205-45-17. but im too low and am looking to get the progress coil overs

Just buy extended studs. 15mm is a decent amt that wont be threaded onto your lug. I dont say its a good idea.

zach only ran 1/4in in the rears which is what like 6 or 7 mm. Just feel 15mm could get sketchy

^this. anything more than 5-6mm and you should really consider extended studs. have you thought about this type of spacer? as an added bonus, they're hubcentric.

Looks like it isn't bolted in at all, look how far out it is, that's how close type s brakes sit to the wheels in the front but that's the rear...ha

i'm pretty sure you need spacers. not sure on the size though but probably like 15mm. and maybe a roll depending on how low you are.

stock ride height was acceptable. The rears seem to rum on the "inside" when jacked up, but when on the ground it gave just enough clearance.(or else I would've noticed it during driving) Rolling is needed if lowered cuz they are flush with the quarter panel. Spacers are needed if you want to avoid "chance" of rubbing on the inside. I got pics, just need to upload.

Wow, thats with an 8mm spacer? So essentially a 37mm offset. Are you running a ton of negative camber. I'm assuming you rolled/trimmed the rear fenders.

Reason I was asking was I'm running the same wheels for DD, but no spacers needed because of the Type-s brake setup and I have a set of rota slips with a +40 offset for autocross. My +40 rotas stick out quite a bit more than his +37 si rims. So I'm assuming he is running some negative camber as well.

Ok, -2 in the rear explains it then. I'm dialed in negative camber in the back to make sure they cleared, but I need to get my fenders rolled so i can dial some of the negative camber back out. Yeah, they Type-S brakes are pretty much the same brakes that the 06+ Si uses, so the wheels fit perfectly.

The '06-'08 Civic SI wheels will fit the front type s brakes on our cars without any spacers at all. If you have the stock '04/'05 front brakes you will need a 5 mm spacer in front only.

I run staggered setup with the AP1 rims. I actually have a really weird setup right now. I wouldn't recommend it but it works.
I have reverse staggered setup. I have the 7.5 in the front with a 35mm spacer and the 6.5 in the back with a 30mm spacer.

Anybody running the '07 Fit HFP wheels?

Considering getting these or the SS-7 HFP wheels from the em2.

maybe they're the wheels youre going to buy. i know there's 3 different 8th gen si wheels (one of them is the hfp, 2 are stock factory)

ive been thinking about getting honda wheel locks...but i dunno if its worth it because i have stock 09 si wheels not something aftermarket

Thanks for posting, I went another route.....didn't really like the lines of those wheels on the round Ep3. I picked up a set of the other SI (06-09) wheels......no tires yet, but at $300 with no curbs I couldn't pass them up!

yeah i almost bought rpf1 for 1200 with a couple curbs...and used tires

this guy had the 09 si wheels with 1 TINY like i mean dime sized nick. with brand new oem tires for $700

apparently he bought his si back in '10 and took the wheels off within the first month and finally decided he wanted them sold recently

i would have preferred the rpf1...but you cant beat $700 for brand new oem tires and rims

I missed a couple of deals like that over the last few months and finally found a guy selling a set of the other SI's with two tiny little curb marks for $300. Now all I need is some rubber. Quick question, what size spacer did you use on the front? I've heard 3mm and 5mm, I'd rather do 3 if they'll work.......

My car is on blades right now, but I want to see the HFP fit's as well... ebay has been blowing those rims out the door, one dealership has been selling 4 new ones for $399 (16's) recently. I am picking them up soon. He has tons of sets left....

The Fit HFP's look really good on Ep's. There was an OG here who had them on for awhile, but I can't remember a screen name.

I have a bunch of good parts ill be putting on, and I def want to get some direction from the more experienced members on here. I will amass parts all spring/summer, then roll out a good build in the fall. Those 16" HFP fit wheels are $399 (plus $60 to ship) w/ no center caps... That is a really good price for 4 OEM Honda rims. You'll easily get that back when it comes time to sell them.

Finally got tires for my '06+ Si rims.
17x7 +45 with 3mm spacers on the front.
Tires are 215/45ZR17 Continental DWS
Love the look of the wheels with the shape of the EP....
And no, I don't need a drop...I live in WA and need the clearance.....

If you have stock calipers, they will slightly rub on the rims. If you did the RSX swap, they will not. It's minimal rub, but it does rub
I thought about grinding mine down, but spacers were easier.

Maybe a little more camber to tuck in the wheels on bumps

It's an ebay version of the garage lip, got it for free from a friend so I won't complain haha I like it better than the garage door lip because it's more flexible and comes with double sided tape already on it. I'll post some pics when I get home

I am tempted to get a set of Mustang Bullits/Torq Thrusts. Always liked this wheel.
But damned if thise Evo's didnt look so good. Maybe go down a full tire size to 225/45 mebbe?

Thanks! I bet they would look good but I'm not a fan of painted stock wheels, and I like the clean look of silver. Plus, almost nobody has silver wheels anymore :)

I feel the need to revise this statement.
After driving for a few months I notice sometimes when I hit a bump I hear a click...so I looked and the front wheel brakes are really close to the wheels.
So I bought t1r 3mm spacers and put them on, fixed the problem.
