So I went to a local mechanic and asked him some questions about kpro install. If i were to add kpro to my stock k20a3 ep3 as well a 6 speed tranny(tuned). Would that same kpro work when i installed a k24a2 or k20a2 motor? He told me yes, but still wasn't convinced.
To sum it up
Current setup Kpro K20a3 6 speed tunned
Upgrade setup Same Kpro k24a2 or k20a2 (even maybe frank motor) 6 speed tunned
Would it the same Kpro run or would i need to get a new Kpro ecu?

If I understand correctly, KPro is universal among al K-Series engines, you'll just need a re-tune when you swap. I'll let others chime in too though since I've only got a basic understanding of kpro.

^^ he is correct. You will just need a retune for your new setup.

So A Kpro PNF should do fine in this case

when i swapped my engine to a k20a i just used my ep3 harness.. if you try to use a different harness the plugs might not fit what ever ecu/kpro your using.

Yes, the PNF ECU with Krpo will run every Throttle by cable K series motor. The only function that a PNF ecu doesn't have is the reverse lock-out. The reverse lock-out from a PRB(k20a2/z1) ecu locks out the reverse gear so you can't go 5th to R instead of 5th to 6th. But as long as you know how to drive you'll be fine without it.
truth, i have it on my stock ass k20a3. just keep the harness.
