Hello guys and gals, I've had a 1991 crx-si, 1990 prelude si, 1993 civic ex coupe with a b18c1 swap.. and more recently two VW's (stock turbo yay)

So you can see where I'm coming from.. my resume I guess you could call it, here is the last VW i built; 2003 GTI 1.8t, 330whp on low boost, 420whp on high boost:

I just bought a car that a lot of people are familiar with.. some know it as the T1 Race Development EP3, some know it as Mitch's EP3, some know it as the fastest EP3 in North America (10.9 in the 1/4 mile).

I've always been of the opinion that a car is worth more if you build it yourself, instead of buying one already built.. but after driving this car i had to recognize it for what it is.. an amazing machine regardless of whether it was my sweat blood and money or someone else's. Mitch is a great friend who gave me a great deal on a great car.. can't really complain at all.

Tony at T1 and Mitch get full credit for building this car, I'm just stoked to be able to enjoy it. My goal is to make a few aesthetic changes and to get the car in a magazine or two.. and to not kill myself driving it :yes:

2007 civic si k20z3 bottom end bored to 89mm by ERL
ERL sleeved and O-ringed block
ERL s2000 conversion oil pump, deleted oil cooler
K24 oil pan
K24 timing chain and custom race tensioner
Manley turbo tuff rods and custom T1/JE pistons
Balanced and micro-polished crank by ERL
Golden Eagle big bore head gasket
ARP head studs
Gates racing serpentine belt

HEAD:
2006 rsx-s K20Z1 head
K20Z1 cams
Supertech oversized valves with retainers, keepers and valves
Full head job by T1 Race Development
Polished valve cover
RBC shaved and bead blasted intake manifold with polished adapter plate and 2006 rsx-s throttle body
Hondata intake manifold gasket
Borgwarner bullseye S362 Turbo w/ 66 exhaust side housing with T1 “whale weiner” intake pipe
T1 custom stainless K-series sidewinder turbo manifold, 3” downpipe, and dump tube
Full 3” all aluminum exhaust with V-bands and mandrel bent Vibrant piping, resonator, muffler

This car is amazing. Sad to see Mitch let go of it, but glad it is still going to be around the hatch. Looking forward to seeing more video's of this thing going down the track.

i had the interior pretty simple.. beetle head rests on square bolstered heated leather seats, r32 steering wheel, boost gauge on steering column, EGT gauge fabbed into the cig tray.

Yup I had to tell the 2nd fastest whats up lol. I will post picks of the new ride soon. So far I have put a lil carbon fiber on it modded the exhaust and intake and a sexy rear diffuser. I feel I had made my point in the ep3 scene and was only going to continue to go faster. I always wanted to run 10's in a fwd car and I had my belt fully notched with 10's in the ep3. The car was worth more than it was sitting in my garage. The ep3 is less than 7 miles away and in great hands (we all know how anal vw owners are haha) I have a first right of refusal on the EP3 so if its ever wanted back and available I may be back with it. Ill be the only one working on it and am confident Ray will get it into a magazine in 2011, we all know the car well deserves it. As far as I know its still the fastest 7th gen si on the planet..... Now time for me to break some new records! The current ISF record is 11.2 so let me see what I can do ;-)
