So I've seen S2k start buttons, cig lighters, and gauges put in that round useless spot to the right of our emergency button and shifter. What are some cool things to put into that spot? Any ideas of something that have not been done yet but could be possible?

or you could make a mount that can fit in there to hold gadgets for you, provided you dont hit it with the shifter when you go fifth

couple years back I remember seeing someone put a 120 volt outlet in an RSX. I've always thought that little blank space would make a convenient spot for a 120 volt outlet. its something I've always wanted to try but I'd probably fry something critical and fuck myself

Buddy of mine RJ (Rodarbal on here a pre-crash) had a niiiiiiice bass knob in that spot. Used the hole plug to cover it, and the thing was spring loaded. So you click the cover, and an LED-backlit bass knob slides out of the console all smooth as shit. Thing was badass. :hat:

Make the hole larger (or maybe not) and install a fake vagina. Then you can REALLY love your car!

edit: oops, this is not OT section, sorry! My serious response is: Whatever you do, make it look useful and not poorly done. Even a fake camera lens could deter thieves, especially with a little sign that says "Smile, you're on camera". That's the only thing that worked at my gf's old apartment garage.

Sold it to a local kid, and a month or two later I spotted it wrecked on the highway on the way home one night. RJ told the kid that the one thing he was gonna need to do was put new tires on it...

I dunno, I'll ask him about it though. Pretty sure the knob came that way, pneumatic/spring loaded or whatever it was. He just happened to find the right size/style, and was able to make it fit.

That's sick. I've been wanting this for a while now. A trunk button. I want the door lock to only lock and unlock the doors. Then add a button to unlock the trunk. Anyone know if this possible for a not too hard diy?
