Would the sound quality matter if I'm running the 2 highs in the front and a 12" sub in The back without the mids?...how big of a difference is it?

I have 2 kicker tweeters and 2 kicker door speakers but no speakers in the back seats, and the sub.

So you'll just be cutting out 2 mids? Try it out and see what happens. You'll probably want something back there though or your sub may drown out the midrange, unless you like bumpin without quality. My vote is to find something with a similar frequency range for the back seats, bass means nothing if you can't hear what you're playing.
