Hey members, I have been reading your message board for months to cure my wait into buying a 2003 Honda Civic Si.

I was searching all over the web and going across dealerships, looking for the right sporty car for me. I wanted it to be similar to my current car, a '89 Civic DX Hatch - stock, by the way:( - but to have more speed and good looks. The EP hatch seems to be alright for me, even though other auto makers have faster cars for even lower prices, but I wanted a Honda, so the Si seems to be the one.

You guys seem to take pride in the new Si, and I hope to become an EP owner soon. Hopefully you guys can help me out with mods when I do get it.

ephatch rocks:D

I am very impressed with this car and I test drove all the available lower priced performance models from Ford, Nissan, Mazda (although I didn't get a shot at the Mazda6, Mazdaspeed, whatever they call it) Subaru, and Toyota. From a pure performance standpoint, the manual Subaru WRX was stunning, but I never could get it into a price range that I could handle. For an overall driving experience, nothing compared to the SI. I loved the Spec-V and would have had a ball driving autocross or rally with one, but, for me, nothing came close to the ergonomics and driveability of the EP.

This is my fourth Honda, and every one has been designed purposefully and has carried itself well. The EP is easily the most complete package I have driven.

Now, if anybody wants to send me enough moola for the new RSX so I don't get bored driving just one car, I can e-mail an address.
