starter going bad?

every once in awhile after driving when i park to go in a store or anywhere when i go to restart it takes 2-4 clicks of the key before it actually starts to crank and turn on is my starter taking a shit on me? thanx

i think so. go to a shop even better to find out. it's worth it. could b alternator??

alternator doesnt start a car, battery and starter do. I would test the battery first than do the starter

i just replaced the battery like a month ago because it had a dead cell the car is still under warranty (sp?) but do you think honda can claim it is due to any mods ive done to my car?

the alternator goes bad then it drains the battery. this souds like the starter is bad or battery...

anybody know anything about how the dealership works if they will try and say it is from my stereo or or any mods i have done? ive never taken it to the dealer cause ive never had any real problems

you can replace the starter yourself, its fairly simple but no, if they replaced the battery than thats the battery...starter is a whole different problem and you will get charged up the ass for the part and labor
