There are a few screws that need to be mounted to the locations on the boot. (Where the stock boot was installed.)

do i just unscrew the knob and how do i take the stock boot off??

Pull down the chrome ring and twist at the same time. Once that's down, unscrew the knob.

Then you have to take the shift plate off of the dash. Unscrew 3 screws from the back of the plate.

Reverse these steps with the ITR boot.
