I just bought a kpro from a friend ...everything works good but my car cuts off a like 4k rmps in third gear..Im new to this kpro thing but if I get an idea of what it might be I think it will be easier to fix..for some reason I think is a fuel cut or something...some times it cuts off even in 2nd gear...also that damn green keep doesn't stop flashing...I had to set the immobilizer of cause my car wouldn't start pls help
mods
AEM cold air intake:mmad:

the only way to get the green key to stop is to follow these instructions on hondatas website, i did it and no more green key for me

I guess is because the lean protection is on and every time it runs lean it cuts off ...I dont know how to add more fuel yet so I hope that when I learn how to do that the problem will be solve...and for the green light flashing I guess Im going to have to take to the dealer to get it sync with my key/immobilizer..and I have the rev seat at 7300 but I dont take it over 7k

if ur running a k20a2 then that would be good. i suggest just running the factory k20a3. maybe add fuel to take out the lean.u can go to hondata website and learn some basics. wrong tune = bad mileage and messd up motor.

running an a2 kal isn't good I don't see why someone would say that's ok....a2 has a completely different stock tune because our cars don't have vtec like the rsx does. So do yourself a favor and switch to the a3 calibration ASAP.....

Still going into lean protection after putting the car on stock EP3 kal?

Kpro is not plug and forget it requires you to do a street tune at the least, or better yet a dyno tune. The supplied calibrations WILL NOT be optimum with your setup, have your friend show you how to tune the calibration.
Load a EP3 calibration that is closest to your setup and then street tune. The stock cal will run lean as all hell with your mods.

Lean protection is there for a reason too. Don't want to POP your motor. You can learn how by watching the basic seminar videos on how to tune with kpro. Should be on the hondata site
