Close call..

I recently installed a turbo kit on my ep, i went out to drive to work this morning and found that someone had completely destroyed my drivers side lock, I'm not sure what their intentions were, maybe they just wanted my radio, turbo or maybe the whole damn car. :mmad: Any recommendations on an alarm setup?

Youre in denver?? I never see ep's around here...as for your problem I'd go with a Clifford alarm, I know a few people with rsx's with that same alarm and you can't get within 5 ft of the car without the alarm going off

Nothing works as well as a pitt bull in the car, any electrical alarm is easily defeated quicker than a door lock.

I live in an apartment complex and there garages are all being used... Should i try for a kill switch? I just spent 5,000 pretty much on a turbo kit everyday IM paranoid someone is going to rob me lol. My first car was a 2000 civic si and that car lasted 3 months before being stolen..

This is why I have a rat mobile for driving into any populated area where the vehicle will be out of my sight for ANY length of time. Rust and dents are the best theft deterrent.

Any alarm made my Directed Electronics is good. If you want a fancy one go with a viper smart start system. It get linked to your smart phone sends you a text or email alert if the alarm is triggered. Also you can lock/unlock doors from your phone and remote start it if you have the remote start installed. http://www.viper.com/SmartStart/
