its on the back of the subframe. a piece of rubber and its own platform, not attached to anything else...what is the purpose of this?

iirc its right under something on the engine, like the oil pan or something...i always figured its so the engine didnt bang on the subframe if and when it flexed the mount and hit it

when i took my tranny out, i couldnt figure it out for the life of me. i figured its best if i just leave it alone. maybe doug will know

We have a WINNER, DING, DING, DING ! ! !


As soon as you add any bolton etc they become useless and usually create harmonics and vibrations. they are specifically sized and placed to dampen specific harmonics and vibrations on a stock engine.
